We strongly recommend that you:
- Never put in contact (+,-) 2 poles of a battery with metal objects.
- Do not expose your battery to extreme temperatures (-20°C, +60°C).
- Do not expose your battery to fire or any intense heat source, you will be exposed to risks of explosions which could cause serious injuries.
- Never leave a battery submerged in a liquid, in the rain or stored in a damp place.
- You can use the battery at its reception, it’s not necessary to charge it beforehand.
- The charging time of a battery should never exceed 12 hours. An excessive charge time could lead to overload and adversely affect the performance and the lifetime of the product.
- Avoid to down below 20% of battery’s autonomy before recharging to avoid damaging the cells.
- Never leave a battery too long at rest, avoid to down below 5% of battery’s autonomy.
- To calibrate your battery, it should be made to undergo 5 full cycles of charge / discharge every 2 months, never go below 5% of battery’s autonomy.
- Li-ion batteries have a lifetime from 500 to 1000 charge/discharge cycles.
- The batteries undergo self-discharging, they lose their capacity even if they are stored. To limit the loss of autonomy you can store Li-ion batteries charged at 40%, ideally cool to 0°C.
- Always follow the strict instructions of loading and maintenance recommended by the manufacturer of the original equipment.
